There are food delivery companies that provide cheap food delivery insurance in the UK they are as follows:

Deliverroo

Working for Deliveroo, you will need insurance cover that is not part of a regular car or motorbike policy. Some delivery or courier services will provide the cover as part of the employment contract while others will not. They tend to abandon it up to the individual to take out delivery insurance.

Just Eat

In August 2020, JustEat had no insurance coverage for its drivers working with them. The delivery drivers were completely answerable for any incident caused when on their job duties. Hence, you are to ensure you protect yourself when delivering packages.

As of now, JustEat has planned an insurance policy for their drivers working with them. Their policies include the following:

  • Hire and Reward insurance
  • Goods in transit cover
  • Public liability insurance

For commercial vehicle insurance, you will demand to pay a sum of £1,900 and £2,300 per year for your UberEats car insurance.

Amazon

Amazon has created an insurance policy for delivery drivers working with Amazon. The insurance policy is called Amazon Flex Insurance.
