Job Title: Assistant Driller

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Driller or other supervisor
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately
  • Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of Company’s Integrity Management System and ensure understanding and application of updates, changes and working instructions
  • Assist the Driller in the direction and supervision of the drill crew, depending upon operations being carried out, and ensure respective duties are carried out in a safe and efficient manner within the parameters of Company policies
  • Attend and participate in pre-tour meeting with all drill crew members to outline details of well program and prepare for the tasks ahead
  • Ensure full awareness of drilling program and ensure any anomalies are identified and rectified prior to start to minimize risk
  • Prior to shift, ensure all drilling related equipment is in good condition, safe to use and fit for purpose
  • Ensure all tools ran are correctly drifted, measured and ID/OD is correct
  • Assist the Driller with installation of all components associated with diverter and Blowout Preventer (BOP) on the well head to execute Client’s program safely and effectively
  • Assist the Driller in completing blow out prevention (BOP) drills, well control sheets, pipe tallies and equipment checks and maintain related records in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Assist the Driller with jacking operations, preloading, pre-spud meeting etc. to ensure all drill crew members have details of the well program
  • Assist with repositioning the derrick, substructure and related drilling equipment over the well
  • Responsible for the measurement of all Bottom Hole Assembly (BHA), drill pipe and tubulars that are to be run into hole
  • Assist with all preparations and rig ups associated with spudding the well
  • Supervise making up the BHA and stand the drill collars back in the derrick.

Job Title: Electronic Technician

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Rig Maintenance Supervisor on the day-to-day management and long-range stewardship of the rig
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately

  • Execute and update the rig’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), maintenance and rig documentation records to ensure all actions are carried out and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with Borr Drilling policies and procedures to minimize potential downtime for electronic-electrical maintenance activities.
  • Ensure for all automation software systems; revisions back-ups, access codes and passwords are securely and properly stored and recorded, automation software, incl. automation support tools are protected from external un-authorized interference as per Company’s procedures.
  • Assist the Rig Maintenance Supervisor in planning the look ahead in accordance with future operations and any electronic maintenance activities, and carry out regular inspections.

Job Title: Roughneck

Location: Rivers

Job Description

  • Ensure all rigging operations are in accordance with safe working practice. If they have any doubt about the safety of the operation, they will bring this to the attention of the Driller or Roustabout Foreman.
  • Use only rigging gear (shackles, slings, straps, etc) which are in good condition and in-date (colour coded) for certification.
  • Ensure that equipment is rigged safely, as per best working practices.
  • Ensure that the deck area is kept clean and free of all unused equipment.
  • Assist with the running and retrieval of the riser, wellhead equipment and subsea intervention systems.
  • Assist with the maintenance of all intervention and MPT and/or Derrick equipment to a good safe working standard.
  • Assist with the operation of the MPT and/or Derrick and associated MPT and/or Derrick systems.
  • Assist with the mixing of well intervention and cementing fluids.
  • Assist with the slipping and cutting of the MPT and/or Derrick main lift wire.
  • Assist with the preparation of well intervention tools.
  • Assist with the transfer of chemicals to/from the Deck tanks.
  • Under instruction from the Driller will carry out Emergency Disconnection Drill to ensure that all deck personnel are familiar with these operations.
  • Under instruction from the Driller will carry out Well Control Drills.
  • Ensure that they are involved in the weekly safety meetings with their crew.
  • Ensure that Health & Safety policies are understood by all crewmembers.
  • Ensure that they attend all toolbox/TRAC meetings, for all operational and safety aspects of the 12-hour shift.
  • In conjunction with the Driller, ensure Deck Personnel are being trained to meet the company’s training requirements.
  • Perform preventative and planned maintenance on well intervention/mud pump fluid ends and associated equipment.

Job Title: Crane Operator

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Borr Drilling’s QHSE Management System; ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), i.e. Risk Assessments etc.

  • Monitor rigging and lifting practices of deck crew to ensure safety policies and procedures of Company are complied with at all times

  • Ensure a proper lift plan is in place: ensure special care taken during personnel transfers, heavy and awkward lifts and lift operations in bad weather
  • Ensure full awareness of lift plan and look ahead: ensure any anomalies are identified and rectified prior to start to minimize risk
  • Prior to shift, ensure all lifting related equipment is in good condition, safe to use and fit for purpose
  • Monitor the condition and certification status (i.e. color code) of all lifting equipment
  • Ensure all damaged, non-certified and incorrectly coded lifting gear items are either destroyed or quarantined as applicable until next inspection schedule
  • Must know how to inspect all of the crane’s systems and equipment and associated rigging equipment
  • Complete daily and weekly crane reports in a timely fashion and notify supervisor of any issues
  • Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements with regard to all crane related equipment and operating parameters.

Job Title: Chief Mechanic

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Offshore Installation Manager (OIM) / Rig Maintenance Supervisor (RMS) on the day-to-day management and long-range stewardship of the rig.
  • Efficiently manage subordinates and ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately

  • Provide support and safety leadership and on-site supervision of all mechanical maintenance activities onboard the rig
  • Plan and execute the look ahead in accordance with future operations and any mechanical maintenance activities, and manage the mechanical maintenance crew to ensure work is carried out safely and within timeframes agreed
  • Manage the stewardship and execution of the rig’s Computerized Maintenance Management
  • System (CMMS), maintenance and update rig documentation records to ensure all actions are carried out and completed in a timely manner and in accordance with Borr Drilling policies and procedures to minimize potential downtime for mechanical maintenance activities.
  • Manage execution of updating unit’s Oil Record Book in line with IMO and Company Standards.
  • Monitor costs and correspond with OIM regarding overall costs and budgeting for mechanical systems
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels for equipment under area of responsibility: order any stock in a timely and cost-effective manner
  • Ensure all lock-out-tag-out procedures are followed, trapped energy released and all hazards and risks are identified prior to starting work on any mechanical equipment.
  • Overall responsibility for diagnostic tests and troubleshooting system faults and failures of mechanical equipment and systems onboard the rig
  • Supervision of third party inspection activities, including ensuring all third-party equipment is allowable and compatible with the rig.
  • Manage the execution of modifications through and in line with Company’s Management Of Change (MOC) Policies and Procedures, ensuring relevant on board records are kept updated.
  • Be familiar with and carry out all emergency duties as per Station Bill, Emergency Response
  • Plan and any other Company policies and procedures
  • Maintain housekeeping and appearance in general areas of the rig: specifically, but not limited to Engine & Auxiliary Engine Rooms, Control Rooms, HVAC Rooms, HPU rooms, Mechanical Work Shops and Storage areas
  • Keep abreast of operational/technical bulletins pertaining to area of responsibility and ensure all requisite documentation is kept up to date
  • Provide clear and comprehensive handover notes and ensure all subordinate disciplines are communicating handovers with their respective relief
  • Responsible to ensure performance management and discipline and grievance process for subordinates is effectively implemented and conducted in accordance with Company policies and procedures
  • Support, encourage and mentor crew members to ensure they have the skills and opportunity to build job specific competencies and complete training requirements

Job Title: Pumpman

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Pumpman reports to Chief officer.
  • Alignment ship’s manifold with facility/other ship manifold (STS). Keep communication with bridge at that time.
  • Carrying out of Line Up (prepare cargo line for loading/unloading) strictly as per CO instructions.
  • Connecting the cargo hose.
  • Cargo tanks soundings together with CO prior cargo operation started.
  • Check cargo pumps start-up, leakages etc at the beginning of unloading.
  • During unloading soundings of cargo tanks/ballast tanks as per CO instructions.
  • At the end of unloading stripping to be conducted. At the end of loading – topping up respectively. Tank soundings again. Frame system stripping could be done locally buy pump local control. Stripping on ships with cargo system other than Frame done via CCR.
  • Final tanks soundings after unloading finished.
  • Cargo hose disconnecting.
  • Sea passage preparations: secure manifold blanks and tighten bolts properly. Cover pressure and temperature gauges. Adjust cargo line valves as per CO instructions.
  • During sea passage pumpman can carry out cargo equipment maintenance (pumps, valves etc).

Job Title: Motorman

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the machinery and equipment for which they have been allocated responsibility.
  • Have understanding and comply with all relevant sections of the Company’s policies and management system.
  • Diligently carry out, in a safe and efficient manner, any task which has been directed by an Engineer/Mechanic.
  • Be familiar with their duties in an emergency situation and must have a full understanding of, and abide by, Company procedures, policies and instructions.
  • May assist with survey work as directed by an Engineer/Mechanic.
  • Notify the Senior Engineer, to whom they are accountable, for any spare gear and consumable requirements as applicable.
  • Keeping the Senior Engineer fully informed of the progress of any work which has been undertaken, and any defects or problems in their allocated area of responsibility.
  • Any other duties assigned by 1st Engineer.

Job Title: Derickman

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties as assigned by the Driller or other supervisor during drilling, workover and completions operations
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and conscientious manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Borr Drilling’s QHSE Management System; ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), i.e. Risk Assessments etc.

  • Assist as directed in rig skidding or jacking operations as requested
  • Assist as directed in nippling up diverter system
  • Prepare and make up conductor pipe and drill strings to specified requirements
  • Handle drill pipe or tubing when it is being hoisted out or lowered into the hole
  • Assist in the preparation of additional drill pipe, drill collar or special tools to run into hole
  • Make up drill string including collars and pipe to drill through conductor shoe to specified requirements
  • Prepare and test all mud circulating equipment, check mud weight and viscosity, derrick equipment and mud systems regularly and report any irregularities or concerns to the Driller
  • Participate in derrick inspections as per Company policy and procedures
  • Monitor and adjust mud pumps, mud volume and properties as determined by drilling program and advise driller of any changes
  • Assist with make-up and running casing to pre-determined depthAssist with positioning of ram type preventer into desired location under rig floor
  • Assist as directed in the connection and installation of the blow out preventer (BOP)
  • Assist as directed with pressure testing the BOP once installed

  • Monitor self and crew members to ensure compliance with Company Procedure regarding safe handling of chemicals while working around the mud house
  • Relieve drilling crew members as necessary during special operations
  • Perform general housekeeping and maintenance duties within designated area of responsibility: including but not limited to; derrick, pump room, pit room and sack room and help with material preservation activities under the supervision of the Driller

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the Crane Operator / Deck Foreman or other supervisor during deck / maintenance operations i.e. Assistant Crane Operator, Barge Engineer.
  • Ensure all operations are carried out in a safe and responsible manner and responsible for correcting or notifying responsible persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to pre-shift and Toolbox Talk meetings; Observation program, weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Borr Drilling’s HSE Management System; ensure compliance with Safe Systems of Work (SSOW), i.e. Risk Assessments etc.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and utilization of Company’s Integrity Management System and ensure understanding and application of updates, changes and working instructions
  • Responsible for good housekeeping and ensuring deck is clean and free of all unnecessary tools and equipment
  • Assist Crane Operator with loading and unloading supplies and during lifts; install taglines to prevent accidents, interferences and/or damage
  • Act as banksman/slinger for all lifts and ensure a proper lift plan is in place prior to any lifting activity
  • Ensure care and routine maintenance of all tools, rigging and equipment provided for Company use and all equipment on the deck is in good working order
  • Assist with rig moves, jacking, skidding and pre-load operations
  • Assist the Helicopter Landing Officer (HLO) during helideck operations. Helideck Assistant qualified and certified.
  • Operate forklift when required and when trained and holder of valid certification
  • Relieve on drill floor as directed; operate machinery as instructed when competent

Job Title: Materials Coordinator

Location: Rivers

Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently perform all duties assigned by the OIM or Regional Supply Chain Manager
  • Ensure compliance with Company QHSE policies and procedures and responsible for correcting or notifying Responsible Persons of any unsafe acts and/or conditions which exist
  • Actively participate in and contribute to weekly or special operations safety meetings and ensure any concerns or issues are reported appropriately
