Job Title: Qualified Estate Surveyor & Valuer

The Opportunity

  • We are currently seeking highly motivated people for our Assurance practice, which is a leading provider of services to financial industry and large corporate clients of all industries.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct review of valuation report to ensure compliance with applicable valuation methodology
  • Advise Assurance team on the reasonableness otherwise of asset valuation
  • Challenge assumptions used in valuation and advise on applicable alternatives
  • Carry any other tasks relating to assets valuation as may be advised by the Assurance team.

Requirements

To qualify for the role you must have:

  • Graduate of Estate Management or similar qualifications with minimum of Second Class Upper or Upper Credit.
  • Professional qualification of Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) or similar recognized professional bodies.
  • Minimum of 5 years post qualification valuation experience in a firm of Estate Management and Valuer
  • Knowledge of financial reporting (IFRS) will be an added advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill
  • Ability to create technical and functional documentation
  • Knowledgeable of the Nigerian property and Financial Market.
