JOB DESCRIPTION
A Key Player in the Travel and tourism sector seeks qualified candidates to fill this role
Candidate Profile:
The candidate shall be a young self-driven,goal-oriented, target driven knowledgeable and committed Travel manager with a good understanding of the travel industry and experience of Sales, Account Management, Sales Management, Customer/people Relationship Management.
Job Functions
Strategize and plan tour packages for all budgets
 Manage and Supervise Travel consultants
 Prepare competitive pricing and market strategies
 Liaise with sales and marketing to create attractive offers
 Use promotional techniques and prepare promotional materials to sell itinerary tour packages
 Handle unforeseen problems and complaints and determine eligibility for money returns
 Drive self to reach the revenue and profit targets
 Oversee day to day operations in the office
 Mandatory Requirements:
Must possess sound knowledge and understanding of the Travel Industry.
 Must be IT savvy and abreast of Travel trends.
 Must possess good relationships with stakeholders in the industry.
 Must be sales target-oriented with a good sales achievement track record
 Must be able to start and finish the sales process
 Highly intelligent and can work under pressure with little or no supervision.
 Adaptability to a proactive and flexible approach to work and be comfortable with a dynamic environment with constantly changing priorities.
 Tenacity, Loyalty, Commitment, Passion, Drive.
 Other Requirements and Qualifications:
Education and Training:
Must possess a good university degree
 Possession of relevant Travel certifications is also an added advantage.
 Work Experience:
 A minimum of 10 years of related experience in the Travel and Tourism sector.

Excellent sales and negotiation skills.
 Account management skills.
 Excellent communication and people skills.
 Strong Presentation skills.
 Report and proposal writing skills.
 Strategic planning and organizational skills.
 Customer profiling and complex solutions selling skills.
