Nigerian Foundries Group is a 53-year old reverse engineering group of companies that offers tailor-made products and solutions to the West African Industries. We produce ferrous & non-ferrous castings, test/counter weights, a variety of fabrications and components made by additive manufacturing (3D Printing). In addition, we have heat treatment, pattern making and machining facilities.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor

Locations: Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo
Employment Type: Full-time

Description

  • As a Fabrication Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers engaged in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal products, components or structures.
  • You will be expected to have at least 5 years of experience in the field of fabrication and welding, as well as leadership and management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers engaged in fabrication, assembly, and installation of metal products, components or structures.
  • Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to plan and direct the fabrication process.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures.
  • Review work orders and production schedules to determine material requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials.
  • Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Manage and maintain inventory of materials and supplies.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer needs.
  • Monitor the quality of work and inspect finished products for accuracy, conformance to specifications, and overall quality.
  • Provide leadership and direction to employees, including training, coaching, and development.

Qualifications

  • HND / BSc or Diploma or equivalent, with additional Education or training in welding, fabrication, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • At least 5 years of experience in fabrication, welding, or related field.
  • Knowledge of fabrication techniques, including cutting, bending, and welding.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to work in hot or cold environments.
  • Ability to work in confined spaces.

Salary Range

N150,000 – N200,000 / month.
