Job Title: Project Engineer
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
About the Job
- Responsible for coordination of all engineering and technical disciplines needed to complete a project.
- Plan projects, establish project criteria, coordinate project reviews, and ensure the proper implementation of project elements.
- Provide technical input on all major Tenders and service contracts;
- Review technical/commercial tenders to enhance the quality of tenders submitted to meet clients’ specifications and standards.
- Oversight of all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements, interpret clients’ requirements, identify engineering problems and ensure solutions are implemented.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or relevant field
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus
- MBA/MSc (Added Advantage)
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years work experience in a similar role in the Oil and Gas Industry
- Minimum of 5 years of construction project management experience
Skills and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies
- Technical Bids administration
- Clear Understanding of the Oil and Gas Operations Processes
- Excellent Project Management Skills
- Commercial acumen
- Proficient in the use of AutoCAD.
- Good understanding of terms and conditions and the ability to draft and develop sub-contract documentation
- Experience supporting bid activities, creating procurement specification and terms and conditions flow down
- Deep understanding of a wide range of industries, markets, and brands
Salary
Base Pay: N300,000 – N600,000 monthly net, depending on level of experience.
