Call For Application: Unrestricted Grants for African NGOs ($25,000)

Are you a local and growing NGO driving change in your community? The StartPoint Grant 2024 is your opportunity to amplify your impact. StartPoint, an initiative of the African Philanthropy Forum, is dedicated to connecting Africa’s development sector by linking donors with credible, African-led organizations like yours. 

This year, we are proud to offer five unrestricted grants of $5,000 each to organizations that are making a meaningful difference in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania.

We know the challenges local organizations face, and we believe in the power of grassroots efforts to drive transformation. These grants are designed to support organizations just like yours, small but mighty forces for good, deeply connected to the communities you serve.

Eligibility Criteria

We invite applications from local organizations working in Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania. Whether you’re a growing NGO or a community-based organization, this is your chance to access the support you need to continue your important work. All you need to do is register on StartPoint; creating a profile is quick and easy, taking just 10 minutes.

Grant Details

  • Grant Amount: $5,000 (unrestricted)
  • Number of Grants: Five 
  • Application Deadline: October 31, 2024, by 11:59 PM WAT | 10:59 PM GMT | 11:59 PM CAT | 1:59 PM EAT

How to Apply

To apply, ensure your organization is registered on StartPoint (startpointafrica.org). If you haven’t registered yet, you can easily create a profile on StartPoint. Once registered, complete the application here: bit.ly/StartPoint2024Grant 

Selection Process

Applications will be evaluated on your potential for impact and your organization’s capacity to make a difference. We’ll notify successful applicants by email.
