Are you part of a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting intercultural dialogue, fostering diversity, and championing social inclusion? If so, we invite you to apply for the Intercultural Innovation Hub Award, brought to you by UNAOC and the BMW Group, with the support of Accenture.

Our mission is clear: to connect people and cultures, empower grassroots organizations, and elevate intercultural innovation. Through this award, we aim to recognize and support innovative projects that are making a real difference in addressing key societal challenges.
Award Details:
- Focus Areas: We are seeking projects that tackle issues such as xenophobia and hate speech, prevent violent extremism, promote gender equality, leverage sport, art, and culture for social change, and contribute to building inclusive and cohesive societies.
- Support Program: Up to 10 selected projects will benefit from a comprehensive support program designed to expand their impact. This includes financial support of up to USD 20,000, as well as a year-long series of capacity-building workshops, focused support, and customized mentoring provided by UNAOC, the BMW Group, and Accenture.
Eligibility Requirements:
To be considered for the award, applicants must:
- Be not-for-profit organizations implementing projects focused on promoting intercultural dialogue and fostering diverse and inclusive societies.
- Have projects aligned with the specified focus areas, including gender equality, preventing xenophobia and hate speech, using sport, art, and culture for social change, supporting LGBTQI+ rights, and advocating for disability inclusion.
Please note that the Intercultural Innovation Hub does not support one-time events such as festivals or conferences.
Benefits:
- Financial Support: Each finalist will receive up to USD 20,000 to scale up the sustainability of their project and accelerate its impact.
- Capacity-Building Workshops: Selected recipients will participate in a year-long series of workshops to enhance their skills and capabilities.
- Networking Opportunities: Recipients will become part of a global leadership network, connecting with other changemakers and taking part in regional and international events.
