About the Conference:
The second annual Transforming African MedTech Conference aims to unite innovators, clinicians, investors, policymakers, and other stakeholders from across the continent in a collaborative effort to envision the future of the African medical technology industry. Our definition of MedTech encompasses medical devices and equipment, robotics, artificial intelligence, and wearables.
This conference serves as a platform to showcase medical technology innovations, address pressing healthcare challenges, and foster collaboration among stakeholders. With 120 participants in 2023, this year’s event is expected to be even larger, further advancing MedTech solutions and shaping the future of healthcare in Africa.
By increasing linkages across the continent, we aim to strategically support the realization of locally conceived, developed and manufactured medical technologies that can be distributed and used throughout the African continent. During the conference, we plan to host spirited discussions, panels, masterclasses, and workshops on matters related to MedTech in Africa.
