Ogun State Government Gateway Skills Program 2024 ( Comprehensive Upskilling For Youths And SMEs)

The Gateway Skills Program is an initiative of the Ogun State Government in collaboration with Google, Microsoft, Meta, and GetFundedAfrica Technologies, to unleash the potentials of youth and SMEs through relevant technological training and skill acquisition.

Through tailored mentorship, skill enhancement, and the seamless integration of cutting-edge technology, the Ogun State Government Skills Program offers comprehensive support in areas such as digital literacy, entrepreneurship training, access to finance, mentorship, as well as placement for jobs, and income generation opportunities.

The Ogun State Government Gateway Skills Program initiative aims to provide training for 100,000 Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SMEs), with a focus on youths, in the latest technologies to help them thrive in the digital economy.

In collaboration with Microsoft, Google, and Meta, GetFundedAfrica Technologies (GFAT) will lead the way in equipping small business owners and young graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the digital world.

Eligibility Requirements 

To be considered for the Ogun State Government Skills Program, you must:

  • Be a resident or an indigene of the state
  • Be a job seeker, working-class professional, business owner, or an aspiring business owner
  • Be committed to completing the program
  • Be passionate about digital literacy and entrepreneurship

Benefits 

The Ogun State Government Gateway Skills Program offers comprehensive support in areas such as;

  • digital literacy,
  • entrepreneurship training,
  • access to finance,
  • mentorship,
  • as well as placement for jobs and income generation opportunities.

  • Tech and Adjacent Skills
  • Core and Advanced Tech Skills
  • SME Technical Skills
