Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Port-Harcourt, Rivers
Job Description
- The ideal candidate would be responsible for leading teams to deliver project(s) across various business units within the organization.
- He / She will also ensure adherence and compliance to guidelines in terms of managing the resources and slated timelines all through the project life cycle and ensure all issues, risks, and change requests associated to the successful and on-time delivery of projects are promptly resolved.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage all aspects of project and program engagement from planning, external vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, change, risks, and issues.
- Effectively manage a portfolio of power and energy distribution upgrades and projects in compliance with the agreed project scope, budget, quality standards and schedule.
- Provide continuous support and carry out continuous analysis, progress measurement and troubleshooting all through the project life cycle to ensure schedule optimization and meet up with critical delivery dates.
- Provide on-site leadership for the project teams by building and motivating team members to meet project goals, carry out their responsibilities and achieve project milestones.
- Manage all aspects of multiple & related projects to ensure alignment to the achievement of corporate strategic objectives.
The Profile
- First degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics, Mechanical preferably),
- Masters in any Engineering field (MBA will be an added advantage)
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in Project Management with companies into providing Power & Energy Solutions and Electricity Distribution & Transmission.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale/complex projects.
