We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Sales Manager

Locations: Chad, Cameroun, Togo, Benin Republic, Niger
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • To engage directly with the key customers and enhance different channels sales capability in order to maximize the sales, distribution & visibility of the company’s portfolio.
  • Acquisition of new clients
  • Lead conversion from numerous marketing channels
  • Management of customer relationships
  • Recognize customer needs and provide insights for improving the product portfolio based on interactions with and feedback from customers
  • Management of key accounts
  • Development of new accounts
  • Reporting and operations
  • Works proactively with the Suppliers and Brand Management teams on developing aggressive sales business plans in order to achieve the desired sales results.
  • Creating a short- and long-term sales plan with the intention of achieving the given objectives
  • Consistently meet revenue goals in accordance with team/organizational goals
  • Actively looking for possibilities to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers
  • Puts in place the right processes and tools that will ensure flawless and superior execution of Sales Business Plans with Modern Trade customers across the geography.
  • Obtaining referrals from the current clientele to widen the sales pipeline
  • Overseeing pre- to post-sales support activities for the designated regions while guaranteeing the greatest level of client satisfaction

Required Skills / Abilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field
  • 5 years of experience in sales 3 of which must be in Sales Management
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office tools
  • Must possess good decision making skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to lead a team to meet quotas
  • Excellent leadership skills
