We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: RRM Reporting Officer

Location: Maiduguri, Borno
Type: Full Time
Status: National Employee
Contract Start: 01 February 2023
Contract End: 30 June 2023
Contract Length: 5 Months

Background

  • The RRM Reporting Officer will support the technical RRM team in reporting and managing the project in a timely manner.
  • The Reporting Officer will ensure efficiency of th planning, processing and reporting of all activities under the UNICEF RRM component.

Description of Duties

  • Define and develop specific tools and processes for the monitoring of projects (logical framework, indicator tracking table, work plan etc).
  • Adapt and implement industry best practices to quantify impact and reach of projects.
  • Work with project stakeholders and beneficiaries to understand scale, depth and sustainability of impact of projects.
  • Develop, implement and/or assess the effectiveness of community engagement activities including feedback and accountability mechanisms.
  • Verify, cross check, and calculate, project indicators.
  • Write and submit high quality reports on project performance.
  • Ensure respect of deadlines and of work plan activities.
  • Maintain clear and consistent lines of communication with stakeholders including.
  • Identify Lessons Learned for the project and successfully communicate them in a variety of mediums.
  • Structure and provide recommendations on how to improve the overall project management cycle, focusing on better M&E systems, processes and tools for better accountability.
  • Ensure timely and quality donor reporting is achieved
  • Lead and coordinate monitoring field missions.

Requirements
Education:

  • University Degree in International Development, Sociology, Business Management, Statistics, Economics or related field or demonstrated strong working experience in the field of reporting.

Experience

  • At least 3+ years of demonstrated working experience in reporting and grants management.
  • Experience with humanitarian and/or development programming.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of reporting systems in humanitarian projects implemented by national/international NGOs/UN bodies/ Government.
  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
  • Strong knowledge of typical M&E activities (Logframes, quantitative and qualitative methodologies, sampling, quantitative and qualitative analytical approaches, etc.).
  • Experience in three, or more, of these programmatic areas:
    • Food security
    • Health
    • Nutrition
    • WASH
    • Education
    • Protection

IM Skills:

  • Experience in designing tools and strategies for data collection, analysis and production of reports.
  • Expertise in analyzing data using statistical software.
  • Strong experience and expertise of the Microsoft Office 365 suite (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint etc.,).
