We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement and Contracts Manager

Location: Onne, Rivers

Role Objectives

  • The role has responsibility for efficient and effective procurement of goods, services and contract management in line with corporate objective, best practices and policy.
  • To provide valued service enhancing management decision on all areas of the company’s purchasing and contract activity to achieve corporate objective and business competitiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Leads Notore’s procurement activity by establishing and implementing the strategy, policy and effectively managing a team to deliver agreed strategic and operational targets.
  • Establishes, manages and continually improves the mechanisms by which contract management is undertaken, in order to assure appropriate consistency across the business.
  • Develop and track appropriate Procurement performance management metrics and reporting.
  • Drives continuous improvement of ISO QMS processes in Procurement & Contracts Unit.
  • Drives maximum value (cost vs quality and timeliness) in all procurement activity, including achievement of annual savings targets.

Requirements

  • Minimum of HND / B.Sc. in any Engineering, Social Sciences, Logistics, Supply Chain or Operations Management.
  • 10 years progressive experience in procurement & contract management, Logistics and materials warehousing in supply chain roles in a manufacturing or process firm, with at least 5 years in management and leadership role in procurement and contract management function.
  • Membership of a globally recognized professional association in procurement, supply chain like CIPS, CSCP/APICS.
