Job Title: Pharmacy Technician

Job Description
- Taking proper stock and audit of drugs in the pharmacy.
- Dispensing of drugs for inpatients and out patients.
- Filling and labelling of medical containers.
- Proper dispensing of all medications.
- Detailing of medicines to doctors, nurses, interns etc.
- Being in charge of requisition of all medicines.
- Checking the quality and the sources of drugs before dispensing.
- To keep up to date with technical developments, especially those which can save time and improve reliability
- To ensure and adhere to standard pharmacy safety measures and checks.
- Involved with scientific meetings in the department.
- Checking of all prescriptions for errors, ensuring they are appropriate and safe for the individual patient.
- Provide advice on the dosage of medicines and the most appropriate form of medication, which could be by tablet, injection, ointment or inhaler.
- Maintaining of sufficient stock of all needed medications.
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND qualification with 2 – 4 years work experience.
Remuneration
N60,000 – N70,000 Salary Monthly.
