Oduduwa University was licensed by the Federal Government of Nigeria to operate as a private University on 3rd November 2009 (certificate number: 38). The University was named after the progenitor of the Yoruba race (Oduduwa).
The University is located at Ipetumodu, a town in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State. It Iis just 6 kilometres away from Ile Ife. The University which occupies about 100 hectares of land, is strategically located on Ife – Ibadan express road, and it can be accessed from al the nearby States of Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Edo, and Lagos.
