In line with the on-going Postal Sector Reform, Restructuring and Modernization of the Nigerian Postal Service Programs, our client requires exceptional individual to fill the position below:

Job Description

• The Chief Executive Officer will be responsible for driving the strategies, programs and projects of the organization to achieve its goals and objectives.

Qualifications

• First Degree in any related field from a reputable institution.
• Minimum of 20 years cognate experience, with at least 10 years at executive management level.
• MSc or MBA is an added advantage.
• Proven experience in business transformation and process improvement.
• Appreciable knowledge and understanding of the transport and logistics industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership, supervisory, coaching, mentoring and people management skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills with the ability to build rapport across various stakeholders and effectively communicate and interact with top level management.
• Ability to deliver on set targets and achieve demonstrative results in line with the organisations strategic aspirations.
• Strategic thinker with high level of commercial acumen.
• Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Skills and Capabilities:

• Collaborate with the Board to define and articulate the company’s vision and champion the articulation of strategies and plans for achieving it.
• Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
• Monitor and stay abreast of industry, national and global developments, trends, and events to ensure the company is able to maintain and harness its competitive positioning and advantage.
• Collaborate with the Board in the development of investment strategies and provide valuable advice on types of investments that will ensure the actualization of the company’s objectives.
• Provide leadership in the identification, appraisal, and realization of opportunities for new business development.
• Drive the expansion of the company’s footprint in the industry.
• Lead the Management team in accordance with the organisations vision, strategy & values.
• Conduct all affairs and activities of the company within a framework determined by the corporate mission, strategies, and overall policies.
