Assistant Director of Procurement at the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti. Please ensure you read the job requirements before applying for this position.

The Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti is a Federal Government-owned foremost, cutting edge, primary, secondary and tertiary health service provider and clinical training institution in Nigeria. The hospital, which is one of the fastest growing teaching hospitals in the country, was established in 1998 by the Federal Government to provide affordable, qualitative, and accessible medicare to every state of the federation, particularly to the people living in the grass root of Ekiti State and its environment. At inception in 1999 the Hospital had six departments and currently twenty-two clinical and four non-clinical departments.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and interested candidates for the position below:

Job Title: Assistant Director of Procurement

Location: Ido-Ekiti, Ekiti

Requirements

  • At least a Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification in any of the following Disciplines; Economics, Business Administration, Accountancy, Law, Insurance, Banking and Finance, Marketing, Quantity Survey, Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Purchasing and Supplies or other related disciplines
  • Professional membership of relevant professional body(ies) (where applicable)
  • Conversion Certificate to procurement Cadre issued by the Bureau of Public Procurement
  • Postgraduate Degree is an added advantage
  • Position must not be less than Chief Procurement Officer as at the time of application
  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years cognate experience, Eight (8) of which should be in Public procurement related work and at least Five (5) years at senior management level
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint packages and broad knowledge of project Management
  • Postgraduate degree is an added advantage
  • NYSC discharge certificate or evidence of exemption.
