Back in the day, job listings were posted in newspapers and magazines, but in recent times, they reside online.

The job listing is of two types; The external job listing and the internal job listing. Let’s delve into that!

The Types of Job Listings

1. External Job Listing

External job listings are distributed among the job-seeking public from the onset.

Most companies use social media or job boards tailored to the company’s specific employee demographic.

This method allows people to apply for the positions available.

2. Internal Job Listing

Internal job listings, unlike external, are posted within the company for the already existing employees to move from one position to another available position in the company.
