We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Procurement Assistant

Ref: ITA-HR-NRS2024-001
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Recruitment Type: National
Contract: 1-year renewable contract

Duties

  • Prepare project procurement plan and procedures in accordance with IITA procurement policy.
  • Develop plan for the purchase of equipment, services and supplies.
  • Ensure that the products and supplies meet quality standard.
  • Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
  • Liaise with Supply Chain unit to initiate and finalize contract agreements with the project’s service providers and partners.
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other inventories.
  • Prepare all procurement records to facilitate post-procurement reviews.
  • Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts.
  • Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Project Manager.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in Public or Business Administration, Accounting / Finance, or related field with a minimum of three (3) years experience performing similar role in a well-structured environment or donor funded organization.

Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:

  • Have excellent communication skill (reading, writing, and speaking).
  • Have good data management and administrative skills and be attentive to details.
