Job Description
- Develop and execute product operation strategies for an e-commerce platform in the Nigerian market, focusing on enhancing product performance and driving sales.
- Manage the end-to-end process of product sourcing, selection, and onboarding for the platform ensuring a diverse and high-quality product catalog.
- Optimize product listings, including product titles, descriptions, images, and pricing, to maximize visibility, conversion rates, and customer satistaction.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify market trends, customer preferences and potential product opportunities in the Nigerian market.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, logistics, and customer service to ensure seamless product launches, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
- Analyze product performance metrics, sales data, and customer feedback to generate insights and make data-driven decisions for product optimization and assortment planning.
- Develop and implement promotional strategies, campaigns, and merchandising plans to drive
- product awareness, engagement, and sales growth
- Monitor and optimize kev performance indicators (KPIs) such as product conversion rates customer reviews. and return rates. taking necessary actions to improve overall product performanceand customer experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in e-commerce platform product operations, preferably in the Nigerian market or the African e-commerce industry. Candidates from Jiji, Jumia, Konga are preferred.
- Strong understanding of the Nigerian e-commerce market, consumer behavior, local trends, and competitive landscape.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, identify patterns, and make informed decisions to drive product pertormance
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with interna teams, external partners, and suppliers.
