We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Fabrication Supervisor
Ref: IITA-P&C-NRS2023-025
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Description
- Supervise and make requisitions for materials needed for different projects/jobs.
- Assist in preparing monthly chargeback of work done and supervise the fabrication workshop.
- Assist to fabricate and install/fixing equipment like heat exchangers, dryers, and other processing equipment.
- Design and construct any engineering project that relates to fabrication.
- Supervise all the activities going on in the machinist workshop and spare production.
- Ensure the turner machine and other tools and equipment are in good working condition.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc. / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Have a good working knowledge of lathe machines, milling machines and shaping machines.
- Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.
- Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
