We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Refrigeration and Air-conditioning Supervisor
Ref: IITA-P&C-NRS2023-025
Location: Ibadan, Oyo
Description
- Coordinate daily R&A workshop activities and organize work schedules for all refrigeration and air-conditioning equipment.
- Allocate subordinates for servicing, maintenance, and replacing of R&A equipment.
- Supervise subordinates to ensure jobs are carried out effectively.
- Provide daily information on completed work, work in progress, and pending jobs.
- Schedule quarterly preventive maintenance of R&A equipment.
- Supervise staff in air conditioning and refrigerating unit.
- Read sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
- Monitor and update the inventory of spare parts.
- Perform any other job-related task as may be assigned by the Supervisor.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related field with a minimum of two (2) years experience performing a similar role in a well-structured environment.
Competencies:
The ideal candidate must:
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
- Have a good working knowledge of the cooling system.
- Have the ability to read engineering drawings in detail.
- Have the ability to use basic Microsoft software.
