Job Summary
- We are searching for a methodical and strategic grant manager to work with our organization in enhancing funding models, identifying new sources of funding, and developing sustainable and effective grant programs.
- Our ideal candidate must be able to lead grant proposal development and submission as well as identify new sources of funding for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Research and identify new funding and business development opportunities globally
- Maintain and build relationships with funders and other strategic partners
- Draft proposals/LOIs, grant application narratives, and budgets and collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders where necessary
- Administer grant records and evaluate financial reports to analyze all annual progress and perform review on grant expenditure
- Analyze all processes, provide enhancements to all grant programs if required and manage all grant management processes according to policies and procedures
- Monitor and maintain funder and investor reporting schedules and requirements
- Develop and oversee standard terms and conditions for grant award letters, agreements, and contracts
- Prepare and monitor budgets and analyze financial data.
Requirements and Qualification
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or its equivalent
- Strong research skills with ability to synthesize complex information in accessible and actionable formats
- Demonstrated success in obtaining grant driven funding from foundations, corporations and/or public funding sources.
- A minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in grant management
- Experience in developing, writing and submitting successful grant applications
