Job Title: Business Development Executive (Construction)
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- This position is for an experienced business developer with strong experience in building and construction industry. He or she is expected to bring clients and develop existing customer base.
Responsibilities
- Establish contact and develop relationship with prospect
- Master how to get construction leads and implement a lead generation strategy
- Develop new relationships within the commercial construction community
- Ability to perform all aspects of selling/closing a project
- Follow up on all outstanding Request For Proposal and estimates with clients
- Achieve the set monthly targets
- Contribute ideas to marketing campaigns
- Build awareness about the company’s brand
- Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
- Generate new sales opportunities by cold calling, networking and client/associate referrals
- Close sales within the assigned segment of operations
- Responsible for the solicitation of project documents and information
- Maintain acceptable profit margins
Skills:
- Experienced in building and construction
- High level of creativity
- IT literate (Microsoft Office).
- Ability to work with little or no supervision.
- Background in marketing related courses
- Strong communication skills
- Commercially minded
