Job Brief
- We are recruiting for an ambitious and energetic Business Manager to help design and implement business strategies to promote the attainment of our goal.
- (S)he will be at the front of our Lounge Business Unit. The goal is to drive sustainable financial growth through this role.
Responsibilities
- Coordinating and overseeing daily restaurant management operations.
- Motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and treat all staff matters.
- Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste.
- Maintaining the restaurant’s revenue, profitability, and quality goals.
- Ensure efficient restaurant operation, as well as maintain high production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
- Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations.
- Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction and regularly review product quality.
- Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
- Ensure the availability of all items in the restaurant.
- Assessing and improving profitability, profit, and loss marginalization.
- Conversant with market price, manage operating costs in accordance with budgets.
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and food safety regulations.
- Manage the restaurant’s good image and suggest ways to improve it.
- Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expenses.
- Track stock levels of food, supplies, and equipment, forecast needs, and oversee ordering as necessary
- Any other duties assigned by Management.
Requirements and Skills
- B.Sc / BA in Business Administration, Accounting, Sales, or relevant field (Numeric disciplines).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience.
- Male and Female candidates
- Proven working experience at a Management level in the Hospitality industry is an added advantage.
- Proven sales track record.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
- Proficiency in English.
- Market knowledge.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Great negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport/interpersonal skills.
- Time management and planning skills.
