We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Inspection Advisor II

Locations: Akwa Ibom and Lagos
Employment Type: Contract

Roles of NDE advisor Level 3 inspector

  • Active participation in the inspection process, mandatory QA/QC reviews & sign-off before report issuance
  • Roll-out deficient report tracking process.
  • Cross functional interface with Ops, FMS, OT etc.
  • Assist with incident investigation and analysis where required.
  • Ensures that all relevant aspects of the QA/QC programs and procedures are strictly followed in the performance of all work. Ensures the integration of the requirements of the OIMS in all work, tasks or deliverables.
  • Reviews, and provides input for update of Facilities Operations procedures as required.
  • Maintains regular communication with Facilities Operations and Operations Technical to share lessons and issues
  • Advises Facilities Operations when defining requirements, evaluating alternatives and recommending solutions for execution issues.
  • Reviews and endorses the application of new technology related to inspections and corrosion issues.
  • Site visits as required.
  • Review and Verification of Personnel Qualification and Competency In compliance to OIMS 8-1
  • Evaluate contractor job execution performance and provide necessary feedback for improvement.
  • Provides orientation assistance and mentoring for new staff including new hires and ExxonMobil internal transfers Roles of NDE advisor Level 3 inspector.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Diploma or Degree preferred.
  • ASNT Level 3 in at least 5 out of 7 NDT methods.
  • Minimum 5 years NDE advisory experience (inspector training, code interpretation, 3rd party supervision).
  • Minimum of 10 years work experience.

Specific Skills:

  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Basic proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
