Sterling Oil Exploration & Energy Production Company Limited (SEEPCO) is an indigenous company that ventured into Exploration and Production (E&P) business in the year 2005. SEEPCO participated in the 2005 bid round held by the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) and was successful with license OML 143 (formerly OPL 280).
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Accountant
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Contract
Roles & Responsibilities
- Day to day accounting of Vendor invoices, Branches, cash flow planning.
- Recording transactions and Financials event in compliance with company policies.
- Ensuring accurate and timely accounting reporting periodically.
- Assisting in the implementation of new Procedures.
- Preparing MIS as per requirement.
- Timely Vendor reconciliations.
- Improving efficiencies of transaction booking across the business.
- Responding to inquiries from senior accountants, Controller F&A.
Requirements
- Must have a Degree in Accounting/Finance
- Must possess the ACA/ACCA certification
- Must have at least FIVE years of experience
- Experience in the oil and gas/construction industry is an added advantage
