We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Solar Design & Installation Engineer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The SDI Engineers are responsible for the design, installation and maintenance of solar power systems. He/she will engage clients to plan, design, and install solar systems for Residential, Commercial & Industrial applications

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Solar power systems designs
  • Conducting technical site surveys and power audits at client sites
  • Create simulation reports using design tools like Helioscope, PVSyst, Homer
  • Create electrical SLD schematics for projects
  • Conducting research to develop new techniques for installing solar panels on buildings or other structures, including roofing materials that can withstand high winds or rain without causing damage to the panels
  • Designing and installing solar energy systems, including photovoltaic (PV) arrays, and solar water heating systems
  • Provide after commissioning support to clients
  • Support the sales team when needed for technical clarification.

Educational Qualifications and Experience

  • BSc in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or any related course
  • 2-4 years minimum experience in the solar PV industry designing solar arrays
  • Experience and knowledge on the design and construction process of a Solar system,
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and solar modeling tools, including Helioscope, PVSyst and Homer
  • Experience reading and understanding technical specifications and construction documents.
  • Experience with professional oral and written communication skills.

Salary

N160,000 monthly.
