About the Mobile Engineer Role
- We are looking to hire a skilled Mobile Engineer with prior experience to create and maintain mobile applications for Android, iOS, and Windows devices.
- To be successful in this role, there’s a need to combine your knowledge of UI and UX with insight into the latest technology in mobile applications.
Responsibilities
- Support the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, test, release, and support).
- Produce fully functional mobile applications writing clean, readable, and testable code.
- Gather specific requirements and suggest solutions.
- Write unit and UI tests to identify malfunctions.
- Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance.
- Design interfaces, and develop new features and user interfaces from wireframe models to improve user experience.
- Liaise with the product development team to plan new features.
- Ensure new and legacy applications meet quality standards.
- Research and suggest new mobile products, applications, and protocols.
- Stay up-to-date with new technology trends.
- Ensure the best performance and user experience of the application.
- Fix bugs and performance problems.
- Cooperate with back-end developers, designers, and the rest of the team to deliver well-architected and high-quality solutions.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience building mobile applications with react native.
- Typescript knowledge is a plus.
- A fintech background is also a plus.
- Good understanding of data structures.
- GCP knowledge is a plus.
