iCarryGo.com is an online travel agency based in Abuja, Nigeria and has been in operations since 2012. We render services such as flight booking, hotel reservation, travel packages, things to do and professional visa consultation.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Travel Manager
Location: Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Managing Director
Duties
- As a Travel Manager, you are required to understand and know the basic knowledge of being.
- A travel consultant duties including flight booking reservations with at least one GDS, hotel reservation and basic invoicing.
- Resolve customer, agency, and affiliates queries online and offline.
- Manage corporate client requests timely and efficiently.
- Engage in strategic marketing online campaigns and offline to acquire corporate clients and individual clients
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the operations across ticketing, IT, accounts and visa department and ensure weekly tasks/goals are accomplished.
- Individual Sales target and the rest of the team are met,
- Issuing/re-issuing of airline tickets and ensure adequate reports are recorded and accounted for as displayed on BSP.
- Mange a remote based affiliate agents and ensure growth in the team and maximum sales derived.
- Quarterly developing products (Tour Package) for sales enhancement.
- Provide weekly sales report, expenses in an excel sheet
- Ensure the branch’s book record is up to date with local law enforcement authorities.
- Participate occasional meetings with Developers on live projects/ongoing projects and prospective projects to ensures the best of service is delivered by the developers
Requirements
- Candidates should possess an HND / B.Sc holder in Business Administration / Computer Science or any relevant field to the role.
- Vast in the use of GDS
- Creative with product designs
- Certification in IATA/UFTAA Foundation in Tourism and Managing the Travel Business/Consultancy is essential.
- Knowledge of Excel and MS Suite packages.
- An Excellent knowledge of the Travel & Tourism industry is required to efficiently work in this role, with hands on operations, proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales target, Global distribution software and ability to quickly grasp any new software that is required by the company after been trained.
Salary
N200,000 – N250,000 / Month
