Genesis Cinemas, has cinemas located in Lagos, Port-Harcourt, Warri, Owerri, Abuja and Asaba. Our strategy to continue to grow in all major cities of the country will have us opening in more locations in the years to come.
We are a major brand in the strategic Lagos market, with our current Lekki location situated at the most popular shopping mall in the country with over 800 parking spaces, housing some of the most prestigious Nigerian and international retail brands. Genesis Cinemas Lagos was the first cinema in West Africa to show a 3D movie (Green Hornet) in February, 2011.
We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Dispatch Rider
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Responsibilities
- Delivers items to customers by verifying orders; inventorying stock; arranging transportation.
- Responsible for outdoor and indoor delivery, sending & collecting of official documents, materials, packages and bulky items as needed.
- Keeps customers informed by forwarding notice of item availability, shipment date and method, and current status;
- Answering questions.
- Contacting customers to verify delivery address.
- Picking up items and delivering them safely to customers on time.
- Collecting money for bought items upon delivery to the customer.
Qualification / Experience
- A minimum of Secondary School Leaving Certificate
- One (1) year prior experience as a dispatch rider or related position
- Must have a statutory documentation like Riders Card and related permits
- Familiarity with relevant routes
- Enjoy riding with relevant on-the-job skills as a rider
- Ability to communicate, read and write.
- Organized with ability to multitask
- Ability to manage work-related pressure
- Possess good numeracy skills for delivery and expense records
- Must be polite and able to get along with people.
