Tongston Entrepreneurship Holdings Internship Program is ongoing for applicants that meet the internship requirements.
Tongston is a pan-African group of companies connecting entrepreneurship and education through finance, media, consulting and training. Tongston, with special focus on secondary education, partners with educators, parents, students, profit and non-profit enterprises, social influencers, investors and government, whilst leveraging on media, learning and finance, to transform secondary schools into entrepreneurship institutes, secondary teachers to entrepreneurial educators and secondary students to entrepreneurial learners.
Tongston is structured as a holding company, Tongston Entrepreneurship Holdings, together the “Tongston Group” with 4 subsidiary entities: Tongston Entrepreneurship College (Tongston College): A business secondary school, Tongston Entrepreneurial Teachers Hub (Tongston Institute): An educator training centre, Tongston Entrepreneurship Ventures (Tongston Ventures): A venture capital & private equity firm and Tongston Entrepreneurship Media (Tongston Media): A multimedia production company.

- Tongston Entrepreneurship Group is calling for applications for its Structured Internship Program across the 5 group of companies – Tongston Holdings, Tongston Institute, Tongston Media, Tongston College, and Tongston Ventures.
- Tongston is the leading award-winning unique pan-African group focused on entrepreneurial thinking through education, business, finance and media to achieve sustainable socio-economic development.
- The Tongston Entrepreneurial Ecosystem operates across the:
- Education value chain: Primary, Secondary, Tertiary & Post-tertiary (workplace, government or enterprise); and
- Entrepreneurship value chain: Finance, Education and Media
- The opportunity will place you in a team or across teams in the 5 groups of companies ranging from:
- Tongston Holdings – Finance & Treasury; Legal, Policy, Regulatory and Governance; Corporate Services & HR; Information Technology; Business Development, Stakeholder Management, Strategy, Data, Research & Economics
- Tongston Media – Branding, PR, Marketing and Communications; TV, Radio, Social Media, Web and Print Directing & Productions
- Tongston Institute & Tongston College – Training, Curriculum Development, Integration & Resource Development for upper primary, secondary, tertiary post-tertiary education (both conventional and vocational & technical education)
- Tongston Ventures – Origination, Incubation & Execution; Credit Risk & ESG Management; Portfolio Management.
- Interns are engaged for periods of 1, 3, 6, 12 months.

Requirements
Interns may include:
- Graduate students currently enrolled for post-graduate degrees, from relevant educational institutions focusing on relevant and applicable individuals with relevant prior or current experience
- Undergraduate students currently enrolled for undergraduate degrees from relevant educational institutions focusing on individuals with relevant prior or current experience at tertiary or secondary level such as volunteering etc.
- Experienced hires that are considering a switch in professions, or disciplines or institutions
- National Youth Service Corps Members, or persons who recently completed their National Youth Service Corps Members
- Persons undergoing professional certification and/or training in a university, center, educational institution, study center or other accredited professional institution of higher learning.
