Eatwell is a retailer of a wide variety of raw, and value-added meats, seafood, fruits, and vegetables. Our products include wholesale and retail size cuts of beef, lamb and pork, diverse poultry items such as chicken, duck, quail and wide selection of seafood to include fish, crabs, calamari, and octopus.Semi processed items like burger patties, meat balls, sausages, pre-marinated kebabs, are also offered, alongside ready to eat snacks. Our lean meat and superfoods section for the health conscious is supported with our in house food advisory staff.

We offer convenience across all our sales channels and you can experience this by either walking into our store or shopping via any of our shopping channels; our website and social media pages on all platforms. We are a start-up food retail/Food Service Business with a vision for multiple retailoutlets all over Nigeria and a dedicated central processing/ Manufacturing hub. Operations have commenced with a pilot outlet at Victoria Island Lagos with a vision to opening 3 additional ‘mini’ outlets before the end of 2021.

We are recruiting a competent, experienced and driven candidate to fill the position below:

Job Title: General Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos

Direct Reports: Operations Manager, Accounts/Admin Manager

Summary of Job Description

• Drive the vision of the company and be the Primary Custodian of our brand and culture, ensuring the values are communicated internally and externally.
• Oversee marketing Strategy and continuallydevelop new ways to expand sales.
• Guide Product development and Service delivery in response to consumer/ Market needs, using innovation and Technology as leverage.
• Strengthen Procurement, Store and Logistics to ensure best quality products at best price.
• All activities responsible for Business Profit orLoss.

Job Requirements / Pre-requisites

• A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from areputable University in any discipline.
• Minimum of 15years post-graduate experience.
• Experience with and/or exposure to retail operations with regards to purchasing, stores, inventory management, product pricing and all necessary operating templates and technology.
• Experience with Marketing and Marketing Strategy for both traditional and digital marketing and the ability to come up with innovative ideas and initiatives.
• Candidate must be able to work unsupervised,create and guide teams for success.
• Candidate must be driven, focused and able to multi-task.

Remuneration

• N8,000,000 – N12,000,000 annually
• Profit Sharing
• Performance Bonus with at least 5 years in senior management within a structured organisation
