  • Wärtsilä is a global leader in complete lifecycle power solutions for the marine and energy markets.
  • In West Africa, we supply and maintain diesel or gas engine power production systems for marine or stationary applications within the electrical power and naval propulsion markets.
  • We are looking for a HRLO Specialist For Wartsila West & Central Africa. Location for this position is  Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving the HR Transformation in own country and providing support to local management.
  • Support local Management and organizational changes.
  • Ensuring country benefits and reward strategies are planned, executed and all legal requirements are considered and adhered to.
  • Creating employee engagement initiatives, fair people policies and procedures, identifying and retaining key talent across the organization and creating proactive approaches to well-being in the organization in order to drive physical and mental wellbeing.
  • Driving diversity and equal opportunities in everything we do is a top priority.
  • Establishing a great working environment & culture to enable the organization to get the most out of our people to help drive productivity, improvements in products and services, innovation, retention, contribute in creating employee engagement and achieving a great employer brand to attract new talent.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to drive efficient, high-quality services delivered with a people-centric focus and by doing that ensuring an improved employee experience.
  • working relationships between the organization and our people. Working closely with unions and employee representatives, you’ll need to ensure that people practices are fair and transparent.
  • Influence local management commitment towards behavioral modeling of our code of conduct and perform professional investigations that promote the desired compliance culture.
