Job Description

• Cleans assigned vehicles, both interior and exterior before use for the purpose of ensuring safety and cleanliness of vehicles.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and properly maintained by performing regular washing, cleaning and vehicle maintenance.
• Performs pre-trip, in between trip, and post-trip inspections (e.g. tire pressure, exterior condition, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring the safe operating condition of the vehicle and complying with mandated guidelines.
• Promptly informing the company of any tickets issued against the company vehicle during work hours.
• Fuels or ensure fueling of the assigned vehicle before use for the purpose of ensuring a hitch-free journey and maintaining the vehicle in a safe operating condition.
• Ensuring that the company vehicle is always parked in areas that permit parking in order to avoid towing.
• Complies with all regulations as set forth by the FRSC for the purpose of meeting the requirements of a corporate driver.
• Identify and immediately reports repairs needed on the assigned vehicle.
• Works with the daily checklist.
• Adjusting travel routes to avoid traffic congestion or road construction.
• Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle movement.
• Reporting any accidents, injuries, and vehicle damage to management (if any).

Skills and Requirements:

• Minimum of SSCE qualification.
• Must be resident in Lekki/Ajah/V.I/Ikoyi/Lagos Island/Yaba/Surulere
• Good knowledge of Lagos routes is very essential
• Good communication skill (Oral and written) is essential.
• A deep sense of honesty and integrity.
• Possess defensive driving skills
• Good organization and planning skills.
• Candidate should be dependable, hardworking and an effective communicator.
• Good communication skill (Oral and written) is essential.
