Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank Limited

Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank Limited is a Mortgage Bank duly licensed by the Central Bank of Nigeria to undertake mortgage banking and related services. It was originally incorporated in 1992 as Citizens Savings and Loans Limited. But the name was changed in 1997 to New Patriot Building Society Limited. Guaranty Trust Bank plc acquired the company in August 2007 as a wholly owned subsidiary and changed its name to GTHomes Limited to reflect its relationship with GTBank.  Imperial Homes Mortgage Bank Limited then commenced operation in January 2008.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Reconciliation and Settlement Officer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • The Reconciliation and Settlement Officer is responsible for all claims resulting from electronic communications. Automate back-office processes for dispute resolution, Settlement and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Reconciliation and settlement of NIP transaction on NIBSS portal
  • Daily Reconciliation and settlement of Card transaction using extra switch portal.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to card operation, dispute, and settlement.
  • Bank settlement and reconciliation
  • Bill payment settlement and reconciliation
  • Bill payment dispute resolution
  • Dispute resolution on debit card transactions.
  • Dispute resolution on NIP transactions
  • Card transaction GL proving
  • NIP GL proving
  • Liaise with ISW, NIBS and settlement bank for any settlement issue.
  • POS operation, POS configuration and mapping
  • POS settlement and reconciliation
  • POS transaction dispute resolution

Other Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline
  • 2 to 5 years work experience
  • Work experience in a financial institution is mandatory

Skills Required:

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal relationship skills.
