The Food & AgriTech Accelerator looks towards new technologies along the food value chain to meet the growing demand for food safety, digitalization and sustainability.
The food and agriculture sector is undergoing significant technological advancements, particularly in developed nations, developing countries are gradually making strides in this direction. Data availability, accessibility and quality are already transforming the agricultural sector and increasingly becoming the three key elements driving digital innovation in any sector. Emerging food & agriculture trends are marking a shift towards smart farming and efficient utilization of time and resources while reducing crop losses as well as towards more sustainable and personalized food choices. The focus is to not only improve the overall quality and quantity of the food value chain, but also to reach the ultimate goal of a sustainable future.

- Open to AgriTech startups and scaleups;
- Have an innovation or new technologies along the food value chain.

Application Process
- Application Close – August 11, 2024: They will start reviewing and shortlisting potential candidates.
- Selection days – August 26 – 29, 2024: The startups will pitch in front of an audience of Investors, Mentors, Corporate Leaders, Partners and the SBC team
- Startups Announcement – August 30, 2024: On the last day of Selection Days we announce the 10 startups selected, which will take part in the accelerator.
- Accelerator Kick-off – September 9, 2024
- Impact Day – December 11, 2024: At the end of the accelerator, they celebrate with Impact Day! The founders will showcase their progress and solutions in their signature event.
