Shell Companies in Nigeria is pleased to announce the Student Industrial Training Program, designed to provide Nigerian students in higher institutions with the opportunity to gain work experience in our office locations.

How to Apply for Shell Industrial Training and Internship Program (SIWES)

To apply for Shell Industrial Training and Internship Program (SIWES), applicants are expected to read through the eligibility for the program and other requirements before sending your application.

Eligible Courses:

  • Engineering
  • Geosciences
  • Information Technology
  • Sciences (Pure Science and Environmental)
  • Social Sciences/Arts
  • Commercial

Program Objectives:

  • Provide students with the opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting
  • Develop work-related skills required for the business environment through constructive feedback and supervision
  • Enhance skills such as communication, ethics, HSSE, teamwork, and leadership
  • Facilitate networking and contact-building for professional development

Be a Nigerian citizen

  • Be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program at a university or polytechnic in Nigeria
  • Have school authorization and approval for Industrial Training
  • Have a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.5 and above

Shell Nigeria SIWES Application Process:

  • All applicants must have a personal and valid email account
  • Applications must be submitted via the applicant’s personal email account
  • Only applicants who meet the eligibility requirements should apply
  • Email subject should be in the format: 2025 Shell Nigeria SIWES Application [Course of Study]
  • Email content must include:
  1. Student’s name
  2. Name of University/Institution of Higher Learning
  3. Matriculation Number/Student ID number
  4.  Course of study
  5. Required duration/period for Internship (indicate number of months)
  6. Contact details (Residential address, Email address, and Phone number)
  7. Scanned copy of official IT Form/Letter from Higher Institution
  8. Current Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) or Grade Point Average (GPA)
