Refugee Youth Changemakers (RYCM) proudly launches the Global Digital Pathways Program, designed to equip young Africans, including refugees and vulnerable youth, with globally competitive digital, professional, and leadership skills through fully sponsored access to Coursera. This initiative provides high-quality online learning, globally recognized certificates, and career-building opportunities, enabling youth to thrive in today’s digital economy.
Program Overview
• Fully funded access to six curated learning pathways.
• Each learner chooses one pathway and completes it within 4 months.
• Learners earn Coursera-verified badges, a RYCM x Coursera Certificate of Learning, and gain guidance on career-building opportunities.
• Upon completion, learners can enroll in additional pathways to expand skills.

Eligibility Requirements
• Youth residing in Africa, or Africans living elsewhere. Priority given to refugees or vulnerable youth connected to RYCM or partner communities.
• Willingness to commit at least 4 months to complete the selected pathway.
• Basic access to digital tools (smartphone, laptop, or tablet) and internet connectivity.
• Motivation to improve skills, pursue career opportunities, or contribute to community development.
• Confidence to participate in online learning environments.
• No prior digital experience required for the Digital Foundations pathway.

- Fill Out the Form: Enter personal details, motivation, and select your chosen pathway.
- Submit Application: Applications are reviewed based on motivation, readiness, and availability of slots.
- Receive Confirmation & Onboarding: Selected learners will receive Coursera access links and instructions.
- Begin Your Learning Journey: Follow the study guide and complete the pathway within 4 months.
Program Duration & Certification
• Maximum of 4 months per pathway, self-paced with weekly schedules.
• Support from RYCM mentors and peer groups.
• Successful learners receive Coursera Verified Certificates and digital badges recognized globally. Certificates can be added to LinkedIn, CVs, and job applications to demonstrate verified skills trusted by employers.
