NITDA has forged a dynamic partnership with Coursera to introduce learning scholarships, providing Nigerian citizens with the opportunity to acquire professional certifications from esteemed multinational tech giants such as Meta, Google, IBM, and top-tier US universities. Applicants have the privilege of selecting one certification program each from Category A and Category B to enroll in.
Category A (IT Career Pathway):
- A comprehensive offering of 20 professional certification programs aimed at launching a successful IT career.
- Each program includes a series of courses designed to impart in-depth knowledge and hands-on skills crucial for employment.
- Completion of individual courses within the program awards a certificate of completion, with the professional certification achieved upon finishing all required courses.
Category B (Complementary Skills Pathway):
- Features 4 certification programs to complement IT career skills.
- Enhance digital productivity tools, entrepreneurship, or freelancing skills.

Key Features:
- Successful applicants receive a Coursera license via email, presented as a joining link.
- Access to the Coursera license is granted for a period of six (6) months.
- Scholars can enroll in one certification at a time, with a focus on any of the 3MTT 12 core skills, including Software Development, UI/UX Design, Data Analysis & Visualization, Quality Assurance, Product Management, Animation, AI/Machine Learning, Cybersecurity, Game Development, Cloud Computing, Dev Ops, and Data Science.
