NDDC Youth Internship Scheme | DETAILS
The scheme as set up by the Niger Delta Development Commission is to get the youths to acquire meaningful and self-sustaining skills that would improve their lives, support their families and communities and ensure peace in the Niger Delta region.
The programme will prepare over 10,000 youths from across the Niger Delta with the training and experience needed for self reliance through entrepreneurship. The scheme will provide a monthly stipend of N50,000 to successful candidates for the duration of the internship which will last for 12 months.

Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for the NDDC Youth Internship Scheme, applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be within the age of 18 and 45 years of age.
- Applicants must be an indigene of one of the 9 states of the Niger Delta.
- Applicants will be required to include a personal statement in their application reflecting their commitment to meet the objectives of the programme and contribute to the socio-economic development of the region.
- Applicants must be interested in developing skills in the areas of technology, music and arts, agriculture and marine.
- Applicants must be willing to commit fully to the programme throughout the entire duration.
