The Maltina Teacher of the Year 2025 Competition initiative aims to recognize and celebrate exceptional teachers in Nigeria.

Title: Maltina Teacher of the Year 2025 Competition (8th Edition)

Description

  • It is that time of the year again when we reward excellence in Teaching. Entries are open for the 2025 edition of the Maltina Teacher of the year award.
  • The entry is open to teachers in Public and Private secondary schools. Are you a Teacher in public or private secondary school in Nigeria? Are you the next to join the Maltina Teacher of the Year Hall of Fame? Entries are now open for the 2022 edition of the Maltina Teacher of the year.

Objectives of the Competition

  • Maltina Teacher of the Year Award aims to recognize and celebrate exceptional teachers in Nigeria. The initiative is open to teachers in ALL secondary schools across the country.
  • There will be champions from each state of the federation and the FCT from which the overall winner will emerge – State Champions that emerges from the 36 States and the FCT are recognised and rewarded, the National Winners emerges from these State Champions after further assessment.

Prizes for Maltina Teacher of the Year Competition

Winner:

  • N6,500,000
  • Capacity development training
  • Fully equipped block of classrooms or computer laboratory.

1st Runner-up:

  • N1,500,000.

2nd Runner-up:

  • N1,250,000.

State Champion:

  • N500,000 each.
