Call For Applications: LASRIC Innovation Challenge (Access to Funding)
Are you a visionary innovator or startup ready to redefine the future? The Lagos State Science Research and Innovation Council (LASRIC) calls on bold thinkers and trailblazers to apply for funding and support under its 2024 Innovation Initiative.
Focus Areas:
LASRIC seeks groundbreaking solutions in the following areas:
- Circular Economy: Innovations addressing waste reduction, recycling, and sustainable resource use.
- Agritech and Food Security: Solutions ensuring food sustainability, enhancing agricultural productivity and improving supply chains.
- Emerging Technologies: Disruptive ideas leveraging blockchain, laser technology, quantum computing, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
Eligibility Criteria:
To qualify for the LASRIC Innovation Award, applicants must:
- Be a Nigerian citizen aged 18 or older.
- Present a valid means of identification (LASSRA Card accepted).
- Register and operate their business in Lagos State.
- Have a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) with active customers.
- Be ready to fund their team’s travel and associated expenses.
- Show evidence of payment of Personal Income Tax in Lagos State.
- Submit an original and innovative application.
- Understand LASRIC’s objectives and align with its vision.
- Have no outstanding debts to Lagos State Government programs (e.g., LSETF loans or support funds).
- Disclose any criminal records (if applicable).
