Job Title: Field Specialist
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Description
- The Field Specialist is responsible for safe and efficient field operations.
- He acts as focal point on site for our customers during operations.
- He provides technical support to the customer support during field activities (Intallation, commissioning, fault finding and repair of oil and gas process systems).
Responsibilities
- Responsible for safe execution of field operations
- Assist in planning, preparation, and executing jobs to design according to client specifications with a goal of 100% service delivery
- Leading commissioning, installation and reparation activities
- Develop and implement continuous improvement for field operations
- Develop extensive relationships with customers and internal stake holders
- Achieve functional and technical skills required for assignments
Requirements
- HND / Degree qualification in Electrical / Mechanical or Petrochemical processing
- 5 years experience in oil and gas processing systems
- Excellent communicator with Strong HSE mind set
- Strong technical and theoretical aptitude
- Able to follow directions and company policies, standard work procedures
- Client, Service Quality and Performance focused
- Strong problem-solving and ability to use own initiative
- Understand engineering drawings with the ability to complete paperwork in a legible manner
- Excellent hands-on aptitude in electricity, instrumentation, mechanic
