Job Description

Role Overview

Responsibilities
Market Research:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients.
  • Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to stay informed and ahead of the curve.

Tender and Bids Preparation:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of preparing and submitting tenders and bids in response to client requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information and create comprehensive, competitive, and compliant proposals.

Lead Generation:

  • Identify and qualify leads through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and leveraging online platforms.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead generation strategies.

Relationship Building:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Work closely with existing clients to identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.

Sales Presentations:

  • Create compelling sales presentations and proposals to showcase the company’s products or services.
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition to potential clients.

Negotiation and Closure:

  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Close deals and achieve or exceed sales targets and quotas.

  • The ability to think strategically, analyze market trends, and develop business plans that align with the company’s goals.
  • Strong networking skills to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and industry contacts
  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field is often essential. The number of years required may vary, but mid to senior-level roles usually require several years of relevant experience.
  • Familiarity with the MEP industry in which the company operates is beneficial. Understanding market trends, competitors, and key industry players is often crucial for effective business development.
