Ticketing Officer
Location: Central Business Area, Abuja (FCT)
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Description
- Arranges reservations and routing for passengers.
- Examines passenger ticket or pass to direct passenger to specified area for loading
- Plans route and computes ticket cost, using schedules, rate books, and computer.
- Sells travel insurance.
- Telephones customer or Ticket Agent to advise of changes with travel conveyance or to confirm reservation.
- Build and promote excellent customer services through proactive interaction
- Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements
- Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree, HND
- At least 1 year work experience in a Travel agency
- Ability to book ticket through various booking systems i.e Amadeus, Sabre or Galileo
- Knowledge of travel, reservations and flight arrangements that meet clients’ needs
- Understanding of visa and entry requirements for countries.
- Computer literate in MS windows applications (word processing and Excel, spreadsheets)

IT Officer
Location: Central Business
Job Description
- Running regular checks on network and data security
- Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Conducting regular system audits
- Designing and maintaining website
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages and operating systems (MS Exchange, Active Directory, and other Windows-based systems), current equipment and technologies, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring
- Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
- Improve the User Experience of the website regularly
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketer / Communications manager to develop strategies for growing subscriber base and web traffic
- Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly
- Ensure full compliance of website with all laws and regulation.
Skills / Education
- HND / B.Sc. / M.Sc
- 1 – 5 years experience
- Strong knowledge ofInternet protocol systems
- Knowledge of IP and Windows os and basic knowledge Cisco
- Good knowledge of Adobe suite and Content Management Systems
- Proficient in HTML, XHTML, CSS design, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Access, mySQL and JavaScript, etc
- Great understanding of Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
- Ability to troubleshoot website issues.
