The United States Air Force Basic Military Training (BMT) is a training aimed at building physical strength and agility in order to handle the most challenging challenges in the nearest future.

Air Force BMT Dress Codes

Note that civilian Clothing can only be worn for the first couple of days at Basic training. Once you are given clothing and equipment, you should leave marks on them for easy identification.

Women are usually given a 1-time cash allotment which they are to use to buy their own undergarments.

As earlier said, your career in the Air Force begins with Basic Military Training (BMT). This training helps you view and solve problems as a militant.

After spending eight and a half weeks in the BMT field, your thoughts and way of handling life issues will definitely change from that of a civilian.

Items Not Permitted in the BMT Field

While packing your bag to set off for the training, you must be sure that whatever you are carrying with you you are permitted in the camp, otherwise, you will need to leave them behind.

Things prohibited from the camp include;

  2. Cigarettes or tobacco products of any kind
  3. Makeup
  4. Magazines
  5. Radios or CD/MP3 players
  6. Expensive jewelry
  7. Food or candy
