Commonwealth Youth Awards 2025: Applications are welcomed from young persons for the Commonwealth Youth Awards which aims to recognize and celebrate young people in the Commonwealth who are impacting their communities.
The Award is supported by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II through the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust (QCT) and the Khalili Foundation have joined as partners for the 2025 Awards to celebrate youths who are spearheading impactful, sustainable development work in their communities.

The Award seeks to highlight the contributions young people are making to development work in the Commonwealth, particularly through the Sustainable Development Goals. It also aims at creating an environment which will encourage and sustain investments in youth-led development.
This will be achieved by motivating, encouraging and challenging young people to set high standards for their work/service at community, national, regional or international levels. The selected winner of the QCT prizes will receive two years of flexible funding as well as coaching opportunities and organizational development support.

Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the Youth Awards 2025, applicants must meet the following conditions:
- Must be a Commonwealth citizen and the development work must be taking place in a Commonwealth member country.
- Be aged 18 to 29 years old
- Must have been involved in development works for at least 12 months as a professional or volunteer.
Selection Criteria
Awards will be decided on the basis of:
- Level of impact
- Level of innovation/fresh approaches to problem solving
- Quality of achievement
- Quality of the evidence provided
- Sustainability
