Northern Lights Productions is a full-fledged video production company that specializes in creating high-production-value movies and short films, documentaries, music videos, and commercials for some of the world’s most popular brands globally.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: In-house Video Editor / Animator

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

• Trim footage segments and put together the sequence of the film
• Input music, dialogues, graphics and effects
• Create rough and final cuts
• Ensure logical sequencing and smooth running
• Consult with stakeholders from production to post-production process
• Inserting dialog, sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.

Requirements

• BS Degree in Film Studies, Cinematography or related field is advantageous but not required
• Proven work experience as a Video Editor
• Solid experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut, DaVinci and Adobe Creative Cloud)
• Ability to work fast and on a tight schedule
• Demonstrable video editing ability with a strong portfolio
• Thorough knowledge of timing, motivation and continuity
• Familiarity with special effects, 3D and compositing
• Creative mind and storytelling skills

Salary

N150,000 / Month.
